Margrét is designer based in Reykjavík, Iceland. Her works includes lamps, baskets, reed sculptures and music boxes playing Icelandic folk songs. She primarily works with reed, paper cord, Icelandic wood and recycled material as old needlepoint. In 1993 Margret founded along with fellow artist the gallery shop Kirsuberjatréð.
