Stylish house shoes or moccasins from upcycled lamb skin coats.
The design derives from a shoe that was used as a gymnastic training shoe in the 1940’s. The present shoe uses the original design, adding an ankle piece to make the shoe more sturdy and warm.
The coats used are all hair-on. The ankle piece in this shoe has longer hair than in the foot and sole.
Since the sole is also from an upcycled coat, these shoes are intended to be used inside as house shoes.
